Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 5 July 2025  |  Effective: 5 July 2025

Please read these terms before enrolling in any Bijak Ilmu course.

1. Definitions

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enrolment form, making payment for a course, or accessing any course materials, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

You must be at least 18 years old to enrol in a Bijak Ilmu course. By enrolling, you confirm that you are of eligible age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. Course Description and Availability

Bijak Ilmu offers the following online courses in AI development:

Courses run as cohorts on dates announced in advance. We reserve the right to reschedule, adjust the format of, or cancel a cohort if required. If a cohort is cancelled by Bijak Ilmu, enrolled learners will be offered a full refund or transfer to the next available cohort.

Course content is available to enrolled learners for the duration of their cohort plus 12 months. We do not warrant that access will be available indefinitely beyond this period.

4. Enrolment and Account Responsibilities

Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of full course payment. Access credentials are provided to the email address supplied during enrolment. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

If you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation, you must notify us promptly at [email protected].

5. Payment Terms

Course fees are payable in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) at the time of enrolment. Payment is accepted through the methods made available on the enrolment page. Full payment is required before course access is granted.

Refund policy: Learners may request a full refund within 7 days of payment, provided that the cohort has not yet commenced and no course materials have been accessed. After this period, or once course materials have been accessed, no refund is available. Exceptional circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis — contact [email protected].

If Bijak Ilmu cancels a cohort, enrolled learners will receive a full refund or a credit transferable to a future cohort, at their preference.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use course materials and the community space in a respectful and constructive manner. The following are prohibited:

Breaches of these conditions may result in removal from the course without refund.

7. Intellectual Property

All course content, including recordings, written materials, exercises, and feedback formats, is the intellectual property of Bijak Ilmu. Enrolment grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the content for your own learning purposes during the access period.

Work you produce as part of a course remains your own. By submitting assignments, you grant Bijak Ilmu a limited licence to store, review, and provide feedback on that work for the purpose of running the course.

8. Disclaimers

Course content is provided for educational purposes. Bijak Ilmu makes no representations about the completeness, accuracy, or currency of the materials beyond reasonable care. Technology and tooling in AI development changes; we update course content before each cohort but cannot warrant that all material is current at all times.

Completing a Bijak Ilmu course does not constitute a professional qualification, and we make no claims about employment or career outcomes that may follow from completing a course.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Bijak Ilmu's liability for any claim arising from a course enrolment is limited to the amount paid for that specific course.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including loss of earnings, loss of data, or loss of opportunity, arising from participation in or inability to access a course.

10. Termination

Bijak Ilmu may suspend or terminate a learner's access to a course if these Terms are breached, without obligation to provide a refund.

You may withdraw from a course at any time. Refund eligibility is governed by the terms in section 5.

11. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to attempt resolution informally in the first instance by contacting [email protected].

If informal resolution is not achieved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. For enrolled learners, we will notify significant changes by email. Continued access to course materials after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
